Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course you will:

  • Know how to conduct a corrective exercise consultation
  • Know the most effective exercises for eliminating pain caused by common musculoskeletal imbalances and which musculoskeletal imbalances specific exercises will target
  • Have the skills to eliminate restrictions in muscles and fascia using self-myofascial release techniques
  • Understand how to increase a client’s mobility and range of movement using specific stretching exercises
  • Be able to recommend strengthening exercises that will enable a client to move correctly and without pain
  • Know how to structure a corrective exercise session
  • Understand how to design a series of corrective exercise sessions
  • Be able to direct clients in how to successfully execute corrective exercises
  • Identify problems or issues that may arise as clients are performing corrective exercises
  • Know how to progress and/or regress corrective exercises based on a client’s ability and performance goals

How is my grade for this course determined?

Your grade for this course is determined on a Pass/Fail basis. In order to receive a passing grade, you must correctly answer a minimum of 70% of the multiple choice exam questions.  You may retake the exams as necessary until you pass for no additional charge.
